What MassHealth coverage is required for Adult Foster Care in Massachusetts?

The member generally needs qualifying MassHealth coverage, such as MassHealth Standard or CommonHealth. Coverage should be verified for the individual applicant because benefit and enrollment circumstances can differ.

Qualifying coverage does not automatically establish Adult Foster Care eligibility. The member must also meet the clinical and living-arrangement requirements, and the caregiver and qualified setting must be approved.
