Even though we’re an agency that provides a service, our members and caregivers are more than just a number.
In her role supervising the team of registered nurses at Mass Care Link, Ashley helps her highly trained nurses teach caregivers the skills they need to care for their loved ones. Besides handling her own caseload of members, she supervises the other nurses and helps with their caseloads. Ashley also serves as the liaison between doctors and Mass Care Link members. She handles assessments and admissions, referrals and submissions to MassHealth.
“MassHealth’s constant changes require us to be very adaptive,” she explains. By staying on top of every change, Ashley helps members receive the most assistance possible from their Adult Foster Care benefits. Formerly a nurse in long-term acute care, Ashley values the lasting relationships MassCare Link nurtures with their members and caregivers. “Even though we’re an agency that provides a service,” she explains “they are more than just a number.”
The New England Tech graduate lives in SouthCoast, MA with her son, daughter and fiance. In her free time, Ashley loves to read and go on vacation, preferably at the same time.
